Scion Underground is the brainchild of Marlon Spears and Jason Johnson. Both of them own Scion tC’s with different turbocharged setups. Marlon is a HUGE disney fan, and his first introduction to podcasting came from listening to Disney related podcasts. As he began searching for Scion related podcasts, he realized there were no active ones, and none that focused on performance.
They are both members of various Scion forums, and they didn’t like the way some people were treated for asking questions. This prompted them to start work on a Scion Podcast that would involve culture, news, reviews, interviews with Scion personalities, and information about how to make your scion faster as well as providing an understanding for those who are not so familiar with how their cars work.
Jason and Marlon are also sponsored by PrestigeRacing.net, and they presented their idea to Clenon Rowles, owner of Prestige Racing. After a bit of negotiating, Clenon agreed to host the podcast on his website, and the ball began moving!
3) Where Can I Download Episodes of Scion Underground?
The first episode should be uploaded very shortly. You will able to download episodes from iTunes, PrestigeRacing.net, and most likely from our blog!
4) How can I contribute to the Scion Underground Podcast?
We depend on your input to make our show better! Don’t hesitate to send us comments, questions, concerns, or kudos (mmm, remember the ones with chocolate chips?). From time to time we also interview scion personalities. We’ll usually give you a heads up, so that if there are any questions you’d like to ask, send us a comment or email, and we’ll try to get them on the show!
